Senior Mobile QA Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer with 6+ years of expertise in mobile application testing and telecom domain validation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in validating Android, iOS, and wearable applications, with deep knowledge of mobile call testing, network validation, VoIP/telephony applications, SIP call flows, audio quality verification, and network performance across Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G environments. The candidate should be proficient in both manual and automation testing and have hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, Java, API testing, and Agile development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing for Android, iOS, and wearable devices.
- Validate mobile voice calling, VoIP applications, telephony features, and SIP call flows.
- Conduct call quality validation, audio verification, latency testing, packet loss analysis, and network performance testing.
- Test mobile applications across Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G networks, including network handoff and roaming scenarios.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mobile application and telecom-related issues.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Appium, Selenium, and Java.
- Execute API testing using REST APIs and validate backend integrations.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, DevOps, and cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing best practices.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Mobile QA and Telecom Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Android and iOS application testing.
- Experience testing wearable devices (Android Wear, Apple Watch, etc.).
- Expertise in mobile call testing and network validation.
- Hands-on experience with VoIP applications and SIP protocol testing.
- Strong understanding of SIP call flows, call routing, call setup, and call teardown.
- Experience validating call quality, audio performance, latency, jitter, and packet loss.
- Experience testing under Wi-Fi, LTE/4G, and 5G network conditions.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Automation testing experience using Appium, Selenium WebDriver, and Java.
- Experience with REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Good understanding of telecom protocols and mobile networking concepts.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
