Lead Mobile Developer (React Native)
About the Role
We are looking for a talented and passionate React Native Mobile Architect to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and performant mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance components.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional mobile applications.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and backend services.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across Android and iOS platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in mobile application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of React.js fundamentals, hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous operations.
- Good understanding of mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and debugging.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with Android and iOS build and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with native Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app release management.
- Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, and crash reporting tools.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or React Native Testing Library.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
