About The Role
As an SDE I - iOS Developer at Navi, you will play a crucial role in shaping the mobile experience for our users. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our iOS applications. Your focus will be on creating reusable, efficient, and scalable components that deliver seamless user experiences. You will be involved in debugging performance issues, optimizing app functionality, and contributing to the overall technical strategy of our mobile platform. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 1+ years of experience developing iOS applications using Swift and the iOS SDK. A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with mobile architecture components, design patterns, and best practices in iOS development. A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and familiarity with modern UI frameworks like UIKit and SwiftUI is required. Knowledge of networking, multithreading, and memory management in iOS environments is also important. Additionally, experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fastlane, or Travis CI will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, with a focus on delivering high-quality mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to implement innovative and engaging user experiences on the iOS platform.
- Develop, test, and maintain reusable iOS software components and libraries that can be leveraged across multiple applications.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adopting best coding practices to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Debug, profile, and resolve performance bottlenecks and functional issues within iOS applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Document technical specifications, create sequence diagrams, and contribute to Low-Level Designs (LLDs) to facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Engage in feature design discussions, providing technical insights and assessing the feasibility of new ideas.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on development processes, workflows, and team practices.
