About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of Mixar—a next-generation application built on the foundation of a leading open-source 3D creation suite. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of building and enhancing powerful 3D tools that redefine the future of digital content creation. Your contributions will directly shape an innovative suite used by artists, designers, and creators worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain core features of the Mixar application
- Extend and optimize functionalities derived from the underlying open-source 3D engine
- Collaborate with product designers and 3D artists to build intuitive, high-performance tools
- Identify technical challenges and propose innovative solutions in the 3D content pipeline
- Contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimization, and code quality initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong programming skills in C++, Python, or similar systems-level languages
- Solid understanding of 3D graphics, geometry, rendering, or game engine architecture
- Experience working with open-source or large-scale creative software
- Passion for building tools that empower creators and push technical boundaries
Nice to Have
- Experience with Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of shader programming, real-time rendering, or GPU pipelines
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles for creative or visual tools
