Staff - Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) is seeking highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellows to join its Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) research group. The successful candidates will work on developing advanced AI systems capable of general intelligence, with a focus on areas such as reasoning, knowledge representation, natural language understanding, commonsense inference, and more. The researchers will have the opportunity to collaborate with world-class experts in the field of AGI and contribute to cutting-edge research. Candidates should have a strong background in machine learning, cognitive science, or a related field, and must have completed their Ph.D. within the past 5 years. Prior experience in areas such as language models, multi-task learning, or meta-learning is highly desirable. Strong programming skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
