The HR Specialist will provide HR support, manage employee data, assist with onboarding, and improve HR processes while maintaining confidentiality. We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, organized self-starter to join our HR-People & Culture Team to support the Americas region. This position is critical in providing great HR support and creating a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is self-driven with strong organizational skills, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Responsibilities: This is an individual contributor role where a high degree of self-direction is required. This role will deal with confidential information and/or issues requiring discretion. Provide first-line support to managers and employees in the Americas region; respond to internal and external customers promptly. Inputs employee personal data into HRIS Answer questions about company personnel policies and procedures to employees or job applicants Compile sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and preparing reports related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, COBRA, OSHA, EEOC/AAP using HRIS. May conduct employee exit interviews and provide general statistics including headcount tracking. Organize and maintain e-files and records. Assist the TA team to ensure timely and proper completion of onboarding documentation for new hires. Make and implement recommendations for HR process improvements Special projects as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred; or high school diploma + relevant experience preferred 2-3 years minimum Human Resources specialist level experience required. Excel proficiency including VLOOKUP and pivot tables required; Macro experience desired. Word proficiency including mail merges Previous experience with HRIS; experience with Workday preferred Strong knowledge of employment law in US and Canada preferred. Strong verbal/written communication skills; Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Detail oriented, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, accuracy is essential, outstanding follow-through and attention to detail Ability to work remotely and autonomously to meet required deadlines and accountabilities.
