POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assembling a component or several components of a product. Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; install components, units, sub-assemblies, wiring, and assembly casings as per bill of materials, using electric/pneumatic drivers or any applicable hand tools.
Perform routine Quality Control checks; identify and remove/replace/repair any defects or non-conformities.
Periodically rotating through all the tasks required in a particular production assembly process.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Pack finished assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage areas.
- Complete, review, and maintain production time and component waste reports.
