About the Role:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and direct patient care within a healthcare setting. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of patient care and safety procedures.
- Ability to pass a background check and any required health screenings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Additional training or coursework in patient care or healthcare support.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Provide mobility assistance, including helping patients move safely and comfortably within the facility.
- Observe patients’ physical and emotional conditions and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Support nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
