Role Description The MIS Manager will be responsible for managing and improving Management Information Systems to support decision-making across the organization. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ambala and requires close coordination with sales, inventory, production, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely data reporting. Daily responsibilities include collecting and validating data, maintaining dashboards and reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying trends or anomalies. The MIS Manager will design and update reporting formats, implement process improvements, and ensure data quality in all systems. The role also involves training team members on MIS tools, supporting audits, and collaborating with management to translate business needs into clear reporting and system requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong systems-focused abilities, including Systems Management and Management Systems, with experience maintaining and optimizing business information tools.
- Proven Analytical Skills to interpret data, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of Quality Management practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
- Experience in Training team members on MIS processes, reporting tools, and basic data usage.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or similar); familiarity with basic databases or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple reports and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain data findings in clear terms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field; prior experience in retail, apparel, or manufacturing is a plus.
