Roles and Responsibilities
1. MIS Architecture & Data Pipeline Design:
- Design and implement scalable MIS frameworks to consolidate business data from multiple internal and external systems.
- Develop automated data pipelines by integrating APIs from various software tools such as PMS systems, CRM platforms, booking engines, marketing platforms, and accounting tools.
- Ensure structured data flow, normalization, and synchronization across multiple business data sources.
2. API Integration & Data Aggregation:
- Integrate REST APIs, webhooks, and third party data services to extract and consolidate operational and financial data.
- Build connectors to collect real time or scheduled data from platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, CRM systems, property management software, and internal databases.
- Ensure reliability of API calls, error handling, authentication handling including OAuth and token based systems.
3. Custom Dashboard Development:
- Design highly intuitive and interactive MIS dashboards for business leadership to monitor key metrics.
- Develop dashboards that visualize operational KPIs, revenue metrics, occupancy analytics, marketing performance, and financial performance.
- Use visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, or custom front end dashboard frameworks.
4. Data Modeling & Business Intelligence:
- Develop structured data models that enable efficient reporting and analytics.
- Create automated reporting layers that allow business teams to monitor performance across properties, departments, and marketing channels.
- Ensure dashboards present actionable insights rather than raw data.
5. Automation & Reporting Systems:
- Automate recurring reports and performance tracking dashboards for management review.
- Create scheduled data refresh pipelines and reporting automation.
- Build scalable MIS systems that reduce manual data compilation across teams.
6. Performance Optimization & Security:
- Ensure performance optimization of dashboards and data pipelines for large datasets.
- Maintain secure handling of API credentials, tokens, and sensitive business data.
- Implement access control layers for different internal stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field preferred.
Experience: 3 to 7 years experience in data engineering, business intelligence development, MIS dashboard design, or analytics engineering. Freelance or consulting experience is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON data handling, and API authentication protocols.
- Experience building data pipelines using Python, Node.js, or similar scripting environments.
- Hands on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker Studio, or Metabase.
- Understanding of SQL databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms such as CRMs, marketing platforms, PMS systems, and analytics tools.
- Ability to design executive level business dashboards with clear KPI visualization.
- Strong problem solving ability in debugging data inconsistencies and API failures.

Work Mode: Remote with occasional coordination meetings
