Role Description The MIS professional at PPStack will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing information systems that support business operations and decision-making. This full-time remote role includes collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various platforms, generating regular and ad hoc reports, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand information needs, designing dashboards and reporting frameworks, and supporting process automation initiatives. The MIS professional will also help monitor system performance, support basic troubleshooting, follow data security and compliance guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of information workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and present findings clearly.
- Information management skills, including data collection, data validation, documentation, and report development.
- Foundational information technology skills, including familiarity with databases, spreadsheets, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles and best practices for handling sensitive data and securing information systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in MIS, reporting, or data analysis in an EdTech, technology, or services environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, reporting platforms, and basic SQL or similar query languages is beneficial.
