Role Overview

Mint Source is hiring a Retention Marketing Manager (Klaviyo) for a UK-based email marketing agency, to develop and execute email and SMS marketing strategies for multiple e-commerce brands. This role involves owning account strategy, managing end-to-end campaign execution, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Klaviyo, proactive in performance optimization, and confident in client-facing communication.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, plan, and execute email and SMS marketing strategies for multiple e-commerce brands using Klaviyo, Postscript, or Attentive
  • Act as the primary client liaison, attending meetings, providing weekly reports, and addressing inquiries via Slack and email
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and technical teams to ensure timely execution of campaigns
  • Optimize performance by analyzing key metrics including open rates, CTR, and revenue, and implementing data-driven improvements
  • Conduct A/B testing, segmentation, and automation to maximize engagement and conversions
  • Ensure all campaigns meet QA standards, including grammar, design consistency, compliance with CAN-SPAM/GDPR, and error-free execution
  • Work within structured project management workflows using ClickUp and Slack to track and manage tasks efficiently.


Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in e-commerce email and SMS marketing, with a strong focus on Klaviyo (certification preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously, ensuring high-quality execution across all accounts
  • Strong understanding of email and SMS automation, segmentation, and customer journey mapping
  • Proficiency in Klaviyo reporting, Figma for design reviews, and project management tools such as ClickUp and Slack
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly in client-facing roles
  • Ability to proactively troubleshoot issues, suggest improvements, and drive results based on data analysis
  • Experience with Postscript, Attentive, and subscription platforms like Recharge or Bold is a plus
  • A structured and methodical approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Note: A portfolio demonstrating past email and SMS marketing work is not required but is strongly preferred.
