Role Overview

This is not a traditional EA role. We’re looking for a performance marketer who knows Meta and Google Ads and is ready to act as a strategic right hand to the CEO of a fast-growing Canadian paid ads agency. This is a blended role: part performance marketer, part strategic operator. You’ll lead high-impact projects: auditing ad accounts, optimizing funnels and offers, building internal systems, and creating client acquisition decks. You won’t just support the CEO, you’ll think like one. We’re looking for a seasoned media buyer (Meta & Google) who’s grown into operations, executive support, or client-facing leadership. You’ll have full visibility across the business and play a core role in marketing, sales, and internal operations.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in marketing, including 3+ years as a hands-on performance marketer/media buyer
  • Direct experience running and auditing campaigns on Meta and Google Ads
  • At least 2+ years in executive support, operations, or agency-side leadership roles
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, CRO, funnel strategy, and offer creation
  • Familiarity with eCommerce and service business models
  • Excellent English communication skills—clear, concise, and professional
  • Proficiency with ad tools, Google Suite, ClickUp, Slack, and presentation software
  • Proven ability to think strategically and execute autonomously
  • Strong client-facing, communication, and light sales support skills
  • Highly organized and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced agency
  • Prior experience at an advertising agency or marketing consultancy is a plus
  • Background in client success, project management, or creative strategy is a plus
  • Interest in AI-based tools, automation, and system optimization is a plus


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct deep-dive audits of Meta and Google ad accounts (eCommerce and service-based)
  • Prepare compelling pitch decks and audit reports for leads and prospects
  • Analyze client funnels, landing pages, and websites to provide actionable CRO insights
  • Recommend optimized offers, messaging angles, and ad creative strategies
  • Re-engage cold leads and former clients via email and CRM follow-ups
  • Serve as a strategic proxy for the CEO—manage inboxes, communications, and follow-ups
  • Provide post-meeting summaries and drive action item completion
  • Maintain structured communication with clients, team members, and leads
  • Coordinate internal and external scheduling
  • Track and report key business metrics and KPIs (financial, marketing, team-level)
  • Assist with cash flow visibility, financial overviews, and basic expense tracking
  • Oversee ClickUp task management and project coordination
  • Lead the documentation and refinement of SOPs and operational workflows
  • Support client onboarding/offboarding processes and team hiring efforts
  • Research and implement software tools, automations, and AI agents
  • Support the creation of lead magnets, newsletters, and other growth assets
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects with the Operations Manager


Key Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Quality and clarity of pitch/audit decks delivered to the CEO
  • CEO task completion rate with minimal follow-up
  • Number of SOPs or process improvements implemented each month
