Position Overview The Minor Projects Executive will manage and deliver small to medium-scale property projects across JLL's portfolio, ensuring timely completion within budget while maintaining quality standards. This role requires strong project coordination skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management Oversee end-to-end delivery of minor capital projects including office refurbishments, tenant improvements, building upgrades, and maintenance initiatives. Develop project schedules, manage budgets typically ranging from $10K to $500K, and coordinate resources to ensure successful completion. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Stakeholder Coordination Serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycle. Facilitate regular communication through status meetings, progress reports, and issue resolution sessions. Manage expectations and ensure alignment between all parties on project objectives and deliverables.
Vendor and Contractor Management Source and evaluate contractors and suppliers for project work. Manage procurement processes including obtaining competitive bids, evaluating proposals, and making vendor recommendations. Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.
Financial Management Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage change orders. Prepare cost estimates and financial reports for stakeholder review. Ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters while maximizing value for clients.
Compliance and Documentation Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and JLL standards. Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, progress reports, and final deliverables. Support audit requirements and maintain accurate records for future reference.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial real estate or construction. Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications PMP or similar project management certification. Experience with tenant improvement projects and building systems. Knowledge of commercial real estate operations and familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
