On-The-Job Training Programme (OJT)

The On-the-Job Training Programme (OJT) is a pre-employment programme which offers participants between the ages of 16-35 an induction into the world of work and focuses on their acquisition of practical occupational skills and experience within organisations (public and private) in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Programme facilitates the placement of trainees for a maximum of twenty-four (24) months at five (5) different qualification levels and corresponding stipend rates (effective December 01, 2019) as follows: Level 1 CXC, Craft Level Training $3,555.00 Level 2 CAPE, A Level, Diploma $4,356.00 Level 3 Associate Degree $5,445.00 Level 4 Undergraduate Degree $7,562.50 Level 5 Postgraduate Degree $8,712.00
