Role Description
We are seeking a Mining Surveyor for a full-time, on-site role. The Mining Surveyor will be responsible for conducting detailed land and mine surveys, operating survey equipment such as Total Station and GPS, and ensuring accurate calculations and measurements. Additional duties include preparing survey reports, mapping out mining areas, and collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure the successful execution of mining operations.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mine Surveying and Surveying practices
- Proficiency in operating and using advanced equipment such as Total Station.
- Knowledge of coal mining operations and associated surveying requirements
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and commitment to work quality
- Relevant professional certifications or a degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred
- Practical experience in the mining or infrastructure sector is a plus
