Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Operations Captain to join our team in Vishakhapatnam. This is a full-time, on-site role specifically for candidates with a mining background who are looking to transition into an operational coordination and desk-based role while remaining connected to ground-level mining operations.
The Operations Captain will play a key role in coordinating with field teams, clients, and internal departments to ensure smooth implementation and functioning of KiarX solutions at mining sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support deployment, management, and troubleshooting of KiarX hardware and software systems through internal teams and field executives.
- Conduct periodic site visits to mining locations for operational reviews and implementation support.
- Monitor mining operations remotely through KiarX dashboards and digital tools.
- Collect feedback from site teams, operators, drivers, and client representatives to improve operational efficiency.
- Review and analyze trip reports, diesel consumption reports, and operational performance metrics.
- Coordinate with technical and field teams to ensure maximum system uptime and smooth operational functioning.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and share insights with stakeholders.
- Support client onboarding, implementation, and post-deployment operations.
- Maintain SOPs, operational records, compliance documentation, and process reports.
- Ensure operational processes comply with company protocols and safety standards.
- Act as a bridge between field teams, clients, and internal departments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only candidates with a Mining background are eligible to apply.
- Prior exposure to mining operations, mine management, or industrial mining environments is mandatory.
- Candidates should possess strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a field-driven and operational environment.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and operational requirements.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Telugu communication will be preferred.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Mining Operations, or a related field.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in mining operations are preferred.
- Mining professionals looking to transition into an operational coordination and desk-based role are encouraged to apply.
