Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mining Engineer based in Tirukalukunram. The Mining Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing mine plans, conducting analyses to ensure safe and efficient extraction, and overseeing operations related to mining activities. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry and environmental regulations, and optimizing coal mining processes to maximize productivity and resource conservation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mine Planning and advanced knowledge of Mining Engineering processes
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate mining project feasibility and performance outcomes
- Experience with coal extraction processes and a strong understanding of Coal and Coal Mining operations
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with industry safety and environmental standards is a plus
- Proficiency with mining software tools and relevant technologies
