About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and HR operations. You will work closely with the founders and cross-functional teams to establish strong HR practices as we scale. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & onboarding: Handle end-to-end recruitment (sourcing screening interviews offer). Coordinate with founders and team leads to understand role requirements. Manage onboarding, documentation, and induction for new hires. 2. HR operations: Maintain employee records, attendance, leaves, and HRMS (if applicable). Prepare HR letters: offer, appointment, confirmation, warnings, and exits. Manage internship programs, evaluation cycles, and conversions. 3. Compliance & administration: Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, etc. Maintain compliance registers & ensure timely filings through consultants. Handle insurance (health / accidental) enrolments & claims. 4. Policies & process setting: Draft and update HR policies (leave, travel, expense, behaviour, etc.). Implement structured HR processes as the company scales. 5. Employee engagement & Culture: Support conflict resolution, employee queries, and grievance handling. Plan team activities, engagement events, and culture initiatives. 6. Payroll coordination: Work with finance to ensure accurate payroll inputs: attendance, LOP, new joiners/exits, reimbursements, variable pay, etc.
