Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Millwright Fitter located in Jalandhar. The Millwright Fitter will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. The role also involves working with power tools and hand tools to ensure machinery runs efficiently and with minimal downtime. Collaboration with team members and adherence to safety protocols are integral to the position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Preventive Maintenance to ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operation of machinery
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and technical issues
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair tasks to extend machinery lifespan and reliability
- Competence in using Power Tools and Hand Tools for assembly, repair, and maintenance work
- Understanding of industrial safety protocols and the ability to work in compliance with company safety standards
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage
- Technical certification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
