This is a high-visibility opportunity for an experienced AV/VC Operations Technician who excels in video conferencing, event coordination, and technical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of running successful events and possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities are divided into two primary areas: Event Coordination and Technical AV/VC Support.
Event Coordination
- Oversee the planning and execution of events, from small user groups to large executive-level functions.
- Provide support for customer meetings and high-level events.
- Initiate and execute all technical audio, video, video conferencing (VC), and live streaming support for events.
- Liaise with internal users and cross-functional teams to define exact audio-visual requirements.
- Coordinate event logistics, including VC booking and scheduling services, using chat, voice, and video communication systems.
- Participate in regular weekly meetings to discuss upcoming event requirements.
Technical AV/VC Support & Operations
- Conduct pre-event checks to ensure all technical elements are fully functional.
- Provide first-line AV client support for events and requests from customers and field technicians.
- Offer VC and chat support to users, including conference setup and advanced troubleshooting on any device.
- Intake customer service requests and manage them to completion using client-provided tools and systems.
- Diagnose infrastructure problems that impact internal platform activities.
- Conduct training for both users and support personnel on equipment and spaces.
- Effectively represent Milestone while communicating with executive-level clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions.
- Proactively communicate any foreseeable technical or operational problems to management.
QualificationsEssential Skills and Experience (Required)
- Experience & Technical Aptitude:
- Demonstrated success in event support or related experience
- Excellent understanding of signal flow in both audio and video installations.
- Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Readiness to support users across multiple operating systems, including Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, and Linux.
- Proficiency with computers, CRM software, and strong typing skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency.
- Demonstrate a positive, professional, self-motivated, and energetic demeanor towards clients and colleagues at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
- HS Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years relevant work experience or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Experience working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional organization.
- Proficiency with helpdesk support ticket management software.
- Proficiency in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Cal).
- A career path demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable results.
- Understanding of networking as it pertains to A/V or venue deployments, including WiFi, VLANs, ISPs, etc
- Familiarity with A/V events production and post-production systems and workflows
