Position Summary:
The Food Prep Cook works with other team members to prepare
large quantities of Miguel’s recipes to be delivered to the Miguel’s JR restaurants.
Responsible for daily deliveries of food items to restaurants.

Following
direction from manager or co-workers, prepare daily food items
·
Safely
manage food prep items using restaurant equipment
·
Maintain
cleanliness inside/outside of the kitchen to required standards – clean all equipment,
clean work area, wash utensils and other cooking equipment.
·
Monitor
quality and cleanliness of food and equipment in the kitchen
·
Maintain
food safety HACCP requirements via daily checklists
·
Prior
culinary or food prep experience desired
·
Complete
other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager
Driver Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·
Load and
unload truck supplies and deliver product to each store location
·
Unload
truck and wash items before restocking container (buckets, restaurant pans,
etc.)
·
Conduct
a daily inspection of vehicle (gas, missing parts, damages, dings, etc.)
·
Review
Order Sheet and count all food items in vehicle
·
Promptly
inform Commissary Management of any missing or forgotten items
·
Only
pick up items as instructed by management, no store to store deliveries
·
Make
sure to get all required signature at every delivery, (i.e., corporate office)
·
Valid
California Driver’s License and applicable auto insurance coverage as required
by law
·
Mon-Saturday
Schedule (Occasional Sundays)
