Role Description The Migration Visa Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves advising clients on suitable visa options, explaining eligibility requirements, and guiding them through application procedures and documentation. The counsellor will conduct detailed assessments of client profiles, prepare and review forms and supporting documents, and coordinate with internal teams and registered migration agents to ensure accurate and timely submissions. Daily responsibilities include responding to client inquiries, scheduling and conducting consultations, maintaining case records in internal systems, and keeping clients updated on application progress and policy changes. The role also includes participating in information sessions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant immigration regulations, and contributing to a professional, client-centered service environment.
Qualifications
- Strong client service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
- Experience in counselling, advisory, or consulting roles, preferably in migration, education, or related compliance-focused services.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases, documentation, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and case management or CRM systems for maintaining accurate records.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in reviewing and preparing forms, documents, and client information.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site office environment.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English; knowledge of additional regional or international languages is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; qualifications in law, international relations, business, or social sciences are preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and a client-focused mindset aligned with Aussizz Group’s values of integrity and respect.
- Prior experience in migration services or visa processing is highly beneficial, though motivated candidates with relevant advisory experience are encouraged to apply.
