WE ARE HIRING!!! BI Migration Consultant (Power BI / Microsoft Fabric to Apache Superset)
About the Role
Everyone talks about moving away from Power BI. Very few know how to actually do it right.
We’re looking for a consultant who can lead a real migration from Microsoft Fabric / Power BI to Apache Superset. This is not a lift and shift. This is about rethinking the BI layer properly.
What You’ll Work On
- Assess current Power BI / Fabric setup
- Define migration strategy and roadmap
- Migrate dashboards and reports to Apache Superset
- Identify what translates vs what needs redesign
- Rebuild data models where required
- Set up governance, access control, and best practices
- Support go live and define SLA based support model
What We Care About
- You’ve done actual BI migrations, not just dashboard development
- You understand differences between Power BI and Superset deeply
- You can think in terms of architecture, not just tools
- You can call out risks, tradeoffs, and bad assumptions early
- You’ve worked on post go live support, SLA, and ownership models
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern data stack (Airflow, dbt, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
- Exposure to open source BI ecosystems
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
