Role Description The Migration Case Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for managing client migration cases from initial consultation through final decision. This position involves assessing client eligibility, gathering and verifying documentation, preparing applications, and maintaining accurate case records. The officer will communicate regularly with clients to explain requirements, timelines, and legal or procedural updates in a clear and supportive manner. Daily work includes collaborating with internal teams, staying current with relevant migration regulations and policies, and ensuring each case is handled with diligence, confidentiality, and compliance. The role also requires proactive problem-solving and attention to detail to support successful outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to engage effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Case Management experience, including organizing documentation, tracking case progress, and maintaining accurate records.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret regulations, assess eligibility, and identify risks or inconsistencies in applications.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Law or migration-related regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Social Work, or a related field are preferred.
- Previous experience in immigration services, education consulting, or legal support is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain client confidentiality is required.
- Proficiency with office software, case management tools, and online research, along with strong time management and organizational skills, is advantageous.
