Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mig Welder role based in Gurugram. The Mig Welder will fabricate and assemble food carts, kiosks, and food truck structures using MIG welding processes, following technical drawings, design specifications, and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and positioning metal components, setting up welding equipment, performing high-quality welds, and inspecting finished welds for strength and appearance. The role involves working closely with the production and design teams to support custom builds, performing basic maintenance on tools and machinery, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. The Mig Welder may also assist in cutting, grinding, fitting, and minor modifications to ensure products meet quality and design requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in MIG welding for mild steel and stainless steel, with the ability to produce strong, clean welds on structural and sheet metal components.
- Experience in metal fabrication, including cutting, grinding, fitting, and basic assembly of frames, panels, and support structures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication instructions, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of workshop safety practices, proper use of PPE, and safe handling of welding equipment and power tools.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive bodywork, or fabrication for carts, kiosks, or vehicles is an advantage.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move metal parts, and work in a workshop environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to coordinate with design and production colleagues.
- Relevant certification or vocational training in welding or fabrication is preferred; practical hands-on experience is highly valued.
