About the role
We're seeking an experienced Notion developer to build and refine a custom business management platform for Midnight Assembly, a collective of specialist event brands operating across Australia and New Zealand.
The goal is to create a streamlined, scalable Notion workspace that supports business operations across four key stages:
• Financial planning and forecasting
• Social media management
• Project lifecycle oversight
• Knowledge and SOP management
This system will not replace Xero or external tools like Metricool or Canva—instead, it will serve as the operational backbone of the company, integrating data flows, forecasting, and task management across multiple brands.

What We're Looking For:
• Strong experience building advanced Notion systems and dashboards
• Ability to work with existing components already built in Notion
• Understanding of financial planning logic (forecasting, quote vs actual, cashflow views)
• Familiarity with integration tools like Zapier for Metricool and Canva (nice to have)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
What You'll Deliver (Stage 1 Priority):
• Monthly fixed expenses tracker (auto-populated across 12-month views)
• Cashflow dashboard showing forecasted vs actual financials
• Quote builder integrating fixed and variable costs
• Per-brand expense/income tracking aligned with Xero categories
• A system that is intuitive, modular, and scalable
