Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of experience in Middleware Engineering/Support.
Strong expertise in:
IBM MQ (Queue Managers, Clustering, SSL, DR setup)
IBM ACE (Integration nodes, message flows, BAR deployment)
IBM Communication Server (ComSrvr)
IBM BAM & BAW
IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
Experience in Linux/Unix environments.
Strong troubleshooting and log analysis skills.
Knowledge of HA/DR architecture and load balancing.
Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Ansible).
Understanding of TCP/IP, SSL, Certificates, and Firewall configurations.
Experience in large enterprise production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 production support for middleware platforms (incident management, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes).
Design, implement, and maintain middleware architecture solutions.
Manage and support IBM MQ, ACE (App Connect Enterprise), ComSrvr, BAM, BAW, and ODM environments.
Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed and clustered environments.
Implement high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and failover strategies.
Monitor system performance and ensure SLA compliance.
Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams.
Conduct capacity planning and scalability assessments.
Automate deployments using scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible).
Ensure security compliance and middleware hardening.
Document architecture diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks.
