- We are seeking a skilled and experienced WebLogic Administrator to oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of our Oracle WebLogic Server environments. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the stability and performance of our WebLogic infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle WebLogic Server instances, domains, and clusters.
- Knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes will be an added advantage.
- Manage and monitor WebLogic Server configurations, performance, and resource usage.
- Deploy applications, patches, and updates to WebLogic environments while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Configure and maintain security settings, SSL certificates, authentication, and authorization mechanisms within WebLogic.
- Perform routine maintenance, backups, and recovery procedures for WebLogic environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, connectivity, and application deployment within WebLogic.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize application performance and ensure compatibility with WebLogic Server.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders regarding WebLogic Server usage and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle WebLogic Server features, patches, and security updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a WebLogic Administrator or in a similar role managing Oracle WebLogic Server environments.
- Strong understanding of Oracle WebLogic Server architecture, configuration, and administration.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to WebLogic Server, including performance tuning.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security protocols, and web technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle WebLogic Server Administrator Certified Associate) would be a plus.
