Middle School Computer Science Educator (Immediate Joiners Only)
Job Summary:
Key areas you will be responsible for/job description:
- Co-create/develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum, academic standards, and overall Education Philosophy
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
- Strong focus on safety, wellness, and pastoral care, providing a nurturing, engaging, happy, and positive environment for our learning community.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students, parents, and the Inventure leadership team.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Participate in school events and Beyond Academics activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices.
Competencies and job qualifications required:
- Education:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field/subject.
- B.Ed or any valid Teaching Certification preferred.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject area
