ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a typical social media role. We need someone who understands the world - its politics, its diaspora communities, and its cultural nuances. You'll bridge strategy and execution: understand a brief deeply, develop creative solutions, and direct the Video Editor and Graphic Designer to bring those ideas to life. You are the brain behind the content.
Mid-Level (5-8 years experience)
Location Delhi, India
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
→ Understand and interpret client briefs with depth - go beyond surface-level to identify the real objective
→ Develop creative content strategies rooted in cultural and political context
→ Direct the Video Editor and Graphic Designer to produce content that matches the strategic vision
→ Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely, on-brief delivery across platforms
→ Monitor global events, diaspora conversations, and political narratives relevant to client goals
→ Write copy, captions, and creative directions that resonate with targeted communities
→ Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams - translate strategy into actionable creative briefs
→ Track performance metrics and iterate strategies based on data
→ Stay current on platform trends, algorithm changes, and international media
→ Represent client voice authentically across all social touchpoints
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
→ Background in International Relations, Political Science, or Global Affairs (studied or hands-on)
→ Strong command of political diaspora dynamics and cross-cultural communication
→ Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
→ Experience briefing and directing creatives (designers, editors)
→ Social media strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, FB and X
→ Ability to juggle multiple client accounts simultaneously
→ Strong analytical thinking with a creative edge
GOOD TO HAVE
→ Experience working with political parties, NGOs, embassies, or global advocacy brands
→ Multilingual communication skills
→ Understanding of paid social and boosting strategies
→ Previous experience in an agency environment
