Job Description Power BI Administrator
Role: Power BI Administrator / BI Platform Administrator
Experience: 8 10 Years
Location: Bangalore
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days preferred
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Power BI Administrator with strong expertise in
Power BI platform administration, BI infrastructure management, governance, security, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing
enterprise BI environments across
cloud/on-prem/hybrid setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft Power BI platform infrastructure.
- Manage:
- Installation
- Configuration
- Upgrades
- Patching
- Administer Power BI Service, Gateway, and Premium Capacity.
- Monitor platform health, capacity, and performance.
- Manage workspace governance, access controls, and security.
- Support:
- Data refresh schedules
- Dataset management
- Reporting SLAs
- Implement backup, DR, and business continuity processes.
- Optimize platform performance and automate admin tasks.
