Job Title: Microsoft Fabric + Azure DevOps (ADO) Deployment Engineer
Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: Pune / Chennai / Mumbai / Bangalore (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Fabric + Azure DevOps Deployment Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for Microsoft Fabric environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure DevOps, Git integration, and automation scripting, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Git
- Experience with Fabric Deployment Pipelines and fabric-ci/cd tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and/or Python
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Lakehouse concepts
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Knowledge of code versioning, branching, and merging strategies
- Familiarity with security practices and automated testing frameworks
Roles & Responsibilities
CI/CD & Pipeline Management
- Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for Microsoft Fabric deployments
- Implement end-to-end CI/CD processes ensuring seamless integration and delivery
Source Control & Git Integration
- Manage Git integration within Fabric workspaces
- Define and enforce branching strategies, version control, and merging workflows
Code Quality & Governance
- Implement and enforce Pull Request (PR) approvals
- Integrate security scans and automated unit testing into pipelines
Automation & Scripting
- Develop pre- and post-deployment scripts for environment setup and validation
- Automate tasks such as data seeding, configuration, and checks
Deployment & Data Management
- Handle deployment of non-Git tracked artifacts (e.g., tables, datasets)
- Utilize Fabric Deployment Pipelines and custom scripts for data movement
Innovation & Documentation
- Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new Microsoft Fabric features
- Contribute to technical documentation and customer success case studies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise data platforms
- Exposure to cloud-based data engineering ecosystems
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
