Job Description – Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM Functional Consultant

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) SCM modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in Supply Chain processes, client interaction skills, requirement gathering, solution design, and end-to-end implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Supply Chain Management processes.
- Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM modules including: Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Sales & Distribution, Product Information Management, Master Planning, Transportation Management
- Conduct Fit-Gap analysis and provide functional solutions aligned with business needs.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Solution Design Documents, and User Stories.
- Work closely with technical consultants and development teams for customizations and integrations.
- Support data migration, UAT testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business users, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project planning activities.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (SCM).
- Expertise in Supply Chain modules and end-to-end business processes.
- Experience in implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Good understanding of Inventory, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, and Planning processes.
- Knowledge of integrations, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, LCS, and Agile methodology is preferred.
- Ability to interact directly with clients and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Commerce, or related field.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM Functional certifications are preferred.
- Experience working in Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, or Supply Chain domains is an added advantage.
