About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience and a deep understanding of technical development in AL code, including the ability to create complex pages, dashboards, and reports, and integrate Business Central with external systems.

As a Business Central Developer, you will be responsible for creating matrix pages, dashboards, code units for data processing, and working with external data sources such as FTP servers and Azure Blob Storage. You will also be involved in data exchange, report development, integrations, and ensuring the smooth deployment and testing of solutions. Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage for this role.

· Required Skills & Qualifications:

· AL Code Development: Develop, customize, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) using AL code to build objects like tables, pages, codeunits, queries, and reports.

· Complex Page Development: Design and implement matrix pages, dashboard pages, and complex user interfaces in Business Central to meet business requirements.

· Data Exchange: Develop and manage data exchanges between Business Central and external systems using protocols such as FTP and Azure Blob Storage for file transfers.

· Codeunit Development: Write codeunits for tasks such as reading and processing Excel and CSV files, importing and exporting data, and performing business-specific data transformations.

· Report Development: Create and customize reports within Business Central using RDLC and Word layouts, and ensure proper integration with the system’s functionality.

· Integrations & EDI: Implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP web services, APIs, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to streamline data exchange.

· Debugging and Object Development: Design and develop Business Central objects (tables, pages, codeunits) and perform in-depth debugging to resolve issues and optimize performance.

· Power BI: If applicable, leverage Power BI for advanced reporting and dashboard development, integrating data from Business Central into Power BI for enhanced analytics.

· Azure DevOps & Version Control: Use Azure DevOps for version control, handling commits, branching, and ensuring effective CI/CD pipeline management.

· Object Deployment: Manage object deployments across multiple environments, ensuring smooth migration from development to testing and production environments.

· Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure that all solutions are thoroughly tested and meet business requirements.

· Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for development processes, solutions, and integrations.

· Task Completion & Commitment: Take full ownership of tasks, ensuring that projects are completed on time, with high-quality standards and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

· Desirable Skills:

o Experience with Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards from Business Central data.

o Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and API integration for external system integrations.

o Knowledge of CI/CD practices and Azure-based cloud deployments.

· Soft Skills:

o Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
