Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to join our growing team. This role will suit someone who is technically strong, customer-focused, and comfortable working across implementations, installations, and ongoing support.
You will play a key role in delivering Business Central solutions, supporting clients through installation and configuration, and contributing to light development and integration work.
We are looking for a candidate who values long-term relationships and "sensible advice "the core values that have defined the company.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Lead or assist with Business Central implementations and upgrades
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Provide functional and technical consultancy across Finance, Operations, and related modules
• Develop and customise solutions using AL where required
• Support and integrate Power BI reporting and Power Automate workflows
• Assist with or advise on Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement installations and integrations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality project delivery
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• 5+ years of proven experience in Business Central installation and configuration
• Good understanding of Business Central architecture (on‑prem and cloud)
• Some AL development experience (extensions, customizations, debugging)
• Experience or strong working knowledge of Power BI
• Experience with Power Automate workflows and integrations
• Familiarity with Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 installations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with customers
• Experience in
o Production planning & costing
o Inventory control & warehouse operations
o Financial workflows & compliance
