Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in configuring, customizing, and optimizing Business Central to align with business and finance requirements.
This role involves close collaboration with finance stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions while ensuring compliance and system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a core member of the Business Central (BC) technical team
Provide user support and conduct training sessions for Business Central users
Collaborate with finance teams to identify pain points and recommend solutions
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
Participate in full project lifecycle (planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Ensure system integration with enterprise tools (e.g., Power BI)
Handle basic system troubleshooting (server restarts, file handling, etc.)
Utilize APIs and middleware for system integrations
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Dynamics 365
Support SOX compliance initiatives and process improvements
Maintain technical documentation, integration architecture, and user manuals
Document data migration and integration processes
Stay updated with the latest Dynamics 365 features and best practices
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
7–12 years of experience in IT consulting
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Proven experience with end-to-end implementations
Strong expertise in Finance modules within Business Central
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate)
Solid understanding of system architecture, configuration, and customization
Experience with APIs, middleware, and system integrations
Knowledge of programming languages.
Experience in data migration and data management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work in cross-functional and distributed teams
Nice to Have:
Experience supporting SOX compliance environments
Exposure to enterprise-level integrations and cloud environments
Engagement Details:
Fully Remote (India-based candidates only)
Long-term contract (12 months)
Flexible engagement: Part-time or Full-time
Working aligned with Malaysia time zone
