We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Azure Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Sentinel, cloud security, automation, and solution architecture. This role will involve designing and deploying Azure cloud solutions, enhancing security operations using Microsoft Sentinel, and driving cloud security automation. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Azure security architecture, infrastructure design, and automation strategies to help optimize and protect the organization's cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Azure Solution Architecture & Infrastructure Design
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-optimized Azure architectures aligned with business and security objectives.
- Define Azure governance policies, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), Azure Policy, and security baselines.
- Develop and maintain Azure networking, hybrid cloud connectivity, and secure access controls.
- Architect multi-tier applications, API integrations, and high-availability deployments within Azure.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for consistent, automated cloud provisioning.
- Guide teams in migrating and optimizing workloads in Azure while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and security teams to define Azure cloud strategies and roadmaps.
Microsoft Sentinel Build-out & Management
- Architect, deploy, and configure Microsoft Sentinel to support proactive threat detection and response.
- Develop custom KQL queries, analytics rules, and dashboards to improve security visibility.
- Integrate Microsoft Sentinel with third-party security tools, threat intelligence feeds, and on-prem SIEM solutions.
- Tune and optimize data ingestion pipelines to reduce noise and enhance alert relevance.
- Implement automated response playbooks using Azure Logic Apps, Sentinel Playbooks, and SOAR capabilities.
