Senior Microsoft 365 Collaboration & AI Platform Owner
We're hiring a Senior M365 Platform Owner (M365 Platform Lead | Collaboration Services Manager | Modern Workplace Architect | Digital Workplace Manager | M365 Product Owner) to take full end-to-end accountability for our enterprise collaboration ecosystem — Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive — and drive AI enablement across the Organisation.
This is a senior individual contributor role with enterprise-wide impact. You own the platform. You own the outcomes.
What You'll Own
M365 Service Ownership
Own strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day operations for Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive at enterprise scale. You balance user experience, security, compliance, and cost — and you're accountable for all of it.
AI Enablement & Microsoft Copilot Readiness Lead the safe and responsible rollout of AI-powered productivity tools — Microsoft 365 Copilot and beyond. Define the foundational requirements: content hygiene, permission models, information architecture, and governance. Partner with Security, Legal, Identity, and Data Governance to get it right.
Service Health & Operational Excellence
Define and own SLAs, KPIs, and user experience metrics. Lead incident, problem, and change management. Drive root cause analysis on major issues and make fixes stick.
Platform Standards & Governance
Set configuration standards across tenants and regions. Align with Zero Trust principles and enterprise architecture. Make sure standards are documented, enforced, and easy to consume.
What You Bring
- Deep hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 services in large enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive — and how they interconnect
- Experience enabling AI-powered tools with an understanding of data access models, permissions, and content structure
- Solid ITSM background: incident, problem, change, and service health management
- Awareness of compliance, data retention, eDiscovery, and privacy requirements
- Experience maintaining runbooks, service docs, and standards (Confluence, Jira, or equivalent)
Bonus Points
- Microsoft certifications (M365, Teams, Security, Modern Workplace)
- Global/multi-region environment experience
- Track record driving adoption and change management programmes
How You'll Work
No direct reports. High ownership. High influence. You sit across IT, Security, HR, Legal, and business units as the single point of accountability for collaboration platforms. You're expected to step in during critical incidents and make the call.
