Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Business and Technology Leader for the role of Software Developer, specializing in Front-end and Back-end technology stacks, with a focus on translating business requirements into scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, defining architecture strategies, ensuring technology alignment with business goals, and supporting the company's digital transformation initiatives. You will drive innovation, promote best practices, and support enterprise growth through technology excellence.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
- Java (latest version, e.g., Java 11 or 17) — strong experience developing scalable enterprise applications supporting microservices architectures
- Angular 20 — extensive experience in building responsive, user-centric web applications supporting enterprise-scale front-end interfaces
- JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript — proficiency supporting modern front-end development
- APIs: REST, GraphQL — experience designing, developing, and consuming APIs supporting distributed systems
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP — supporting deployment, scaling, and cloud-native infrastructure (preferred)
- Version control: Git, GitHub — proven source code management, branching, and collaboration support
Preferred Software Skills:
- Build tools: Maven, Gradle, Webpack supporting optimized build and deployment processes
- API management & integration: Postman, Swagger supporting API documentation and testing support
- Cloud-native support: Kubernetes, Docker support for containerized, scalable deployments (preferred)
Overall Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices supporting enterprise business processes
- Drive architecture improvements supporting scalability, security, and operational resilience
- Collaborate with product, UX/UI, backend, and DevOps teams to develop and implement new features
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring architecture supports operational and strategic goals
- Enforce coding, security standards, and best practices for maintainability and compliance
- Support cloud deployment, automation, and migration activities supporting enterprise scalability
- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis supporting high availability and security
- Maintain documentation supporting architecture, APIs, security policies, and operational procedures

- Languages & Frameworks (Essential):
- Java (latest LTS, e.g., Java 11/17), Spring Boot, and Hibernate supporting microservices and backend APIs
- Angular 20, JavaScript, TypeScript supporting responsive enterprise front-end interfaces

- Databases & Data Management:
- SQL databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL supporting data persistence, validation, and reporting

Experience Requirements
- 8+ years supporting enterprise-grade applications with microservices, cloud deployment, and API integration
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and reliable microservices
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering enterprise solutions supporting business goals
- Strong background supporting automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native application lifecycle management
- Industry experience supporting regulated environments such as finance or healthcare (preferred)
Day-to-Day Activities
- Develop, test, and optimize Java microservices, APIs, and front-end applications supporting critical business processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Support environment setup, system migrations, and performance tuning activities supporting enterprise resilience
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and implement security and performance improvements
- Automate deployment pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure provisioning supporting continuous delivery
- Document architecture, security protocols, and operational procedures supporting audits and ongoing support
- Support incident response, root cause analysis, and performance optimization efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of enterprise software development supporting microservices, API, and cloud-native environments
- Certifications: AWS, Azure, GCP, or framework-specific certifications are advantageous
- Proven ability to support scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise applications supporting high transaction volumes
