Role: Microservice Developer
Experience: 1- 3 Years
Location: Chennai
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
· Integrate with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka) and databases (MongoDB, SQL databaes)
· Develop RESTful APIs and work with API clients (Feign Client experience preferred)
· Collaborate with the team using GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines
· Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
· Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and troubleshooting sessions
· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
· Document system designs, processes, and best practices
Requirements:
· 1–3 years of hands-on software development experience
· Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building microservices
· Experience with messaging systems, ideally Kafka
· Working knowledge of both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
· Familiarity with API integrations, especially using Feign Client or similar HTTP clients
· Experience with CI/CD and source control tools, preferably GitLab
· Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring applications in Kubernetes
· Exposure to cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
