Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Microbiology Researcher, based in Bhawanipatna, with opportunities for remote work. The Microbiology Researcher will conduct laboratory experiments, perform microbiological analyses, and assist in research projects focusing on ecological and wildlife studies. The role includes managing laboratory equipment, documenting findings, and contributing to the development of new research methodologies. Collaboration with team members on interdisciplinary research projects is a key aspect of this position.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, analysis, and use of laboratory equipment
- Strong understanding and experience in Microbiology research and related practices
- Knowledge and expertise in Wildlife and Ecology studies, with an ability to integrate cross-disciplinary fields
- Commitment to thorough Research practices and strong analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Ecology, Biotechnology, or related scientific disciplines
- Familiarity with data analysis software and tools is a plus
- Previous experience in project management or contributing to published research is advantageous
