IT Director (Shared Services)

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the Shared Services IT function. Responsibilities include leading a team of IT professionals to deliver IT services and solutions across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with strategic IT initiatives and maintaining robust IT controls and governance.Key responsibilities: - Lead and manage the Shared Services IT function, including IT operations, service desk, enterprise systems, and infrastructure. - Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps to support the business objectives. - Oversee the delivery of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. - Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes. - Establish and maintain IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT team. - Provide IT leadership and strategic direction to the broader organization. Requirements: - Minimum 10 years of experience in an IT leadership role, preferably in a shared services or enterprise-wide IT environment. - Strong understanding of IT operations, service delivery, and infrastructure management. - Experience in leading and managing diverse IT teams. - Proven track record in delivering IT projects and initiatives on time and within budget. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
