Interim Legal Counsel

Our client, a leading multinational organization, is seeking an Interim Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will possess 8-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and will be responsible for providing legal advice and support across a range of commercial and corporate matters.Key Responsibilities:- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, agreements, and other legal documents- Providing legal guidance and support on various corporate and commercial matters- Advising on compliance-related issues and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks- Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and proactively addressing any legal concerns- Handling litigation and dispute resolution matters as and when requiredRequired Skills and Qualifications:- 8-10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a legal professional, preferably in a corporate/commercial setting- Strong understanding of Indian contract law, corporate laws, and other relevant regulations- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving legal issues- Strong analytical and research capabilities- Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of other regional languages would be an advantage
