About the role

Our client is looking for an Implementation & Social Research Specialist to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities: - Provide analytical and research support to the social research projects and studies - Assist in the implementation of social research and evaluation studies - Collect, analyze and report on primary and secondary data from various sources - Conduct field work, interviews, focus groups and stakeholder consultations to support research - Contribute to the design and development of surveys, questionnaires and other data collection tools - Ensure high quality and accuracy of data collection, processing and analysis - Support the preparation of research reports, presentations and other deliverables - Collaborate with the team to achieve project objectives and timelines Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies or a related field - 2-5 years of experience in social research, monitoring and evaluation, or related areas - Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including data collection, analysis and reporting - Proficiency in using data analysis software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, R) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of research methodologies and best practices in social research - Understanding of development issues and social impact initiatives - Willingness to travel for field work and stakeholder engagement
