About the role

The Michael & Susan Dell Foundation (MSDF) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Officer to join our Impact Investments team. This role will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring impact investments that advance the foundation's mission and strategic priorities. Responsibilities: - Source and conduct due diligence on prospective impact investment opportunities across a range of sectors, geographies, and asset classes. - Work closely with the investment team to structure, negotiate, and close transactions. - Monitor and manage existing impact investments, including ongoing reporting, compliance, and strategic support. - Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of the foundation's impact investing strategy. - Collaborate with program, legal, finance, and other teams to align investments with the foundation's mission and goals. - Represent the foundation in external forums, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and share learnings. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. - 7+ years of relevant experience in impact investing, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking. - Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, with the ability to assess and underwrite investment opportunities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial and investment concepts. - Familiarity with a range of impact investment instruments and structures, including debt, equity, and hybrid models. - Demonstrated track record of sourcing, evaluating, and managing impact investments. - Passion for social impact and a commitment to the foundation's mission and values. - Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).
