Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, based in Kolkata, for a MICE Sales professional. The individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the MICE segment, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet clients' corporate travel and event needs. Daily responsibilities include sales planning, conducting client meetings, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to facilitate seamless service delivery. The role also involves managing customer queries, driving revenue growth, and staying updated with market trends to ensure optimal performance in the MICE domain.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Sales and Sales Management to identify opportunities, close deals, and manage client accounts effectively.
- Capability in Training and mentoring team members to achieve sales goals and excellence in service delivery.
- Knowledge of the MICE segment, corporate travel, and event planning is highly desirable.
- A proven track record in business development or sales, particularly in the travel or hospitality sector.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
