About the role
We are seeking a Product Owner (Mobile Applications) to take ownership of our mobile product, driving continuous improvement and ensuring an exceptional user experience. As a champion of the mobile app, you will work closely with customers, internal stakeholders (including Practice Directors and Leadership), and development teams to refine requirements, prioritize features, and optimize performance. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will play a key role in executing the mobile product strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering impactful enhancements that drive adoption and engagement.
The ideal candidate will also be expected to take ownership of other internal initiatives where required.
Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the primary point of contact between customers, internal stakeholders, and development teams for mobile product enhancements.
Regularly engage with customers, end-users, and key stakeholders to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with Practice Directors, Leadership, and the Product Manager to ensure the mobile product aligns with organizational goals and industry needs.
Lead customer discovery sessions, user interviews, and focus groups to validate feature requests and prioritize enhancements.
Present mobile roadmap updates, feature proposals, and impact analyses to the Product Manager to assist with roadmap prioritization decisions.
Mobile Product Ownership & Enhancement
Own and champion the mobile application, ensuring it meets business objectives and user needs.
Maintain and refine the mobile product backlog, prioritizing based on user impact, business value, and technical feasibility.
Collaborate with the Product Manager to define and execute the mobile roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader product strategy.
Monitor mobile app performance, crash analytics, and user behavior to identify enhancement opportunities.
Stay ahead of mobile OS (iOS & Android) updates, ensuring app compatibility and leveraging new platform capabilities.
Agile Development & Mobile App Delivery
Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature specifications with a mobile-first approach.
Work closely with iOS & Android development teams to ensure clear requirements and timely delivery.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
Prioritize and balance new features, technical debt, and app performance optimizations.
User-Centric Approach & Market Insight
Conduct user research and usability studies to inform mobile product decisions.
Use analytics tools to track mobile user behavior and measure feature success.
Stay informed about mobile industry trends, competitor apps, and emerging mobile technologies.
Cross-Team Communication & Alignment
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and visually appealing mobile experience.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure effective mobile adoption strategies.
Partner with engineering teams to assess feasibility and technical constraints of mobile features.
