AWS Cloud Intern

As an AWS Cloud Intern, you will work closely with our DevOps and backend teams to support cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, monitor systems, and help build scalable and secure cloud-based applications. Key Responsibilities: Assist in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Support the setup and maintenance of cloud environments using services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and VPC. Participate in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy. Monitor system health, performance, and cost optimization using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools. Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues. Document cloud configurations, procedures, and best practices. Required Skills: Basic understanding of cloud computing and AWS services. Familiarity with Linux command-line tools and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python). Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and IAM policies. Experience with Git and version control systems. Eagerness to learn new technologies and cloud tools. Preferred Qualifications: Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science or related program. AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar certification (or willingness to pursue it). Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Familiarity with Docker and container-based environments.
