Job Role : Tire Designer
Departments: Technology and R&D
Location: Mumbai
Reports To : L ead - Tire Design
3: Duties & Responsibilities (List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job)
- To prepare DEPR documents
- Supporting in making ERD’s for release of products
- Development of new patterns, Cavity, Layouts and specification.
- Co-ordination with plant team to follow development activities.
- To work on product improvements
- To coordinate with design centers located abroad for design works.
- Responsible for end to end product development.
- Work on in-house developed PLM software
- Ensure technical training for new team members
- Support interdepartmental activities
4: Key Result Areas (List the key deliverables that quantify successful performance in the role).
- Number of new product development as per plan
- Ensure reply to OEM queries/request from internal customers
- Ensure project design & development as per plan
- Make a presentation of findings & implementation in my current progress
- Provide OEM support for all released sizes
